THREE SENIOR CENTERS TO OFFER THANKSGIVING DINNER
Baltimore County Executive C. A. Dutch Ruppersberger announces that three County Senior Centers will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a special holiday meal served at 12:30 p.m. Advance reservations are required by Friday, November 16 for the dinner. Donations are requested for those ages 60 and over, while participants under age 60 must pay the full cost of the dinner. Money collected for the meals will benefit the senior meal program. Transportation will be available to Baltimore County seniors on a limited basis.
The following senior centers will be open Thanksgiving Day: Ateaze Senior Center (410-887-7233), Bykota Senior Center (410-887-3094), and the Liberty Senior Center (410-887-0780). For more information, call the center you wish to attend.
"I hope that many Baltimore County seniors will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to celebrate the holidays with friends and neighbors," noted County Executive Ruppersberger.
